Do you have a quantitative or programming background and want to be part of our Summer Internship Program?

Then you are at the right place! We in Group Actuarial consist of three teams: Life & Health, Non-Life Actuarial and the Natural Catastrophes Competence Center. We are looking for committed and motivated people to learn from our experts and work in interesting projects. The intensive and comprehensive Internship Program offers students the unique opportunity to a participate in a structured program including several hands-on workshops, seminars, multiple opportunities for networking and to gain valuable practical experience.

 

Tell us about your strengths and apply to the 2026 Group Actuarial Summer Internship Program (2026 GAD SIP).

Please indicate your availability (start-end dates within 01st June and 30th September 2025) and preferred team in your application.

Note: the educational part of the 2026 GAD SIP starts the 3rd of July and ends the 23rd of July with a formal Certificate Ceremony. During training days, holidays are discouraged.

What to expect:

  • Implementation of methodical concepts in an actuarial environment
  • Opportunity to join the only competence center for natural catastrophes in Austria
  • Support in the automation of processes
  • Data preparation and data analysis as a basis for statistical models
  • Support in the implementation of projects

We expect:

  • Ongoing or completed Bachelor's/Master's degree with a focus on mathematics, physics, programming or other analytical studies
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Programming skills are desired at least in one of the languages: Python, R, VBA, SQL

 

You can expect a regular salary of EUR 1,500 gross/month.
