What to expect:

  • Design, build, and maintain data solutions on the Azure platform 
  • Develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure 
  • Implement data storage solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage 
  • Develop and maintain data processing workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks 
  • Ensure data quality through targeted corrections and plausibility checks 
  • Build and maintain data visualization solutions using Power BI and other relevant tools 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that meet business needs 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance 
  • Create technical documentation, including diagrams, code, and specifications 
  • Contribute your expertise to a wide variety of projects and actively drive topics forward 

What we expect:

  • Completed education in computer science, engineering, data analytics or related field
  •  3-5 years of experience in data engineering and implementing data solutions, preferably on the Azure platform
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and data integration concepts
  • Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, SQL Database or similar)
  • Programming skills in Python, SQL, Power BI and other relevant technologies
  • Analytical skills and experience with agile development
  • Basic insurance business knowledge is desirable
  • Independent, structured working style combined with team spirit and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing
  • Good English language skills
  • Knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage
  • Find simple, feasible solutions and enjoy collaborating with others
  • Prioritize customer needs, promote independent action, and turn words into actions to build trust
