The Digital Expert & Project Manager will focus primarily on delivering the digital bancassurance roadmap in collaboration with existing strategic banking partners at group level. This role acts as a key contact for digital initiatives within the group cooperation framework and ensures timely, high‑quality delivery of digital projects.

What to expect:

  • Bancassurance Digital Roadmap Delivery & Best Practice Development
    • Lead digital project delivery together with bank partners and local execution countries, including governance, progress monitoring, risk mitigation, and Steering Committee preparation.
    • Follow established digital standards (e.g., customer experience guidelines, solution simplicity) and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Share best practices and document learnings for reuse across the UNIQA network.
  • Implementation of Digital Solutions
    • Drive the rollout of group-level standard digital bancassurance solutions.
    • Coordinate the definition of business requirements for digital needs (APIs, customer journeys, etc.).
    • Act as group-level project manager supporting countries in implementing digital solutions.
    • Maintain and optimize group-wide solutions (e.g., Front-End tools), identifying issues and proposing enhancements.
  • Support of Bancassurance Strategy Execution
    • Support or act as key contributor for non-BAU (non–business-as-usual) topics defined by management.
    • Collaborate with managers to align strategic plans with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure the delivery of the first use case for defined non‑BAU initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Provide regular status updates to managers on progress, roadblocks, and potential risks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Group Legal, Business Development, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement
    • Stay informed about digital trends (Digital Insurance, AI use cases, etc.) and share relevant insights with the team.
    • Engage in training to adopt new tools, processes, and standards.

What we expect:

  • A completed university degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on project management experience within the financial services industry (banking, insurance, or consulting).
  • A strong track record in managing and delivering digital projects.
  • Experience working in agile environments, with solid understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
  • High affinity for technology and digital transformation, with the ability to translate business needs into digital solutions.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, including effective task planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for engaging with middle‑management stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to guide cross‑functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of a CEE/SEE language and/or German is considered an advantage.
