As Head of Group Data & IT, you are the central technology partner for the Management Board and, as a strategic business technology leader, you shape the digital transformation of the UNIQA Group in 14 countries. Together with your teams, you are responsible for the enterprise-wide data and IT strategy, orchestration of federated governance and driving measurable business value through AI industrialization, cloud standardization, cyber resilience, and modern product operating models.
What to expect:
- Developing further the digital strategy for the UNIQA Group by consistently combining technology, data, and business value, all driven by an agile, product-oriented operating model
- Supporting the company-wide AI technology strategy from the experimental stage to scalable business impact with appropriate governance, platforms, and risk management
- Orchestrating collaborative governance that combines global standards (AI, data, security, infrastructure, cloud) with local innovation
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management (DORA, EU AI Act, etc.) through a holistic resilience architecture
- Establish, promote, and continuously develop an international and high-performing IT organization under direct and indirect management
What we expect:
- Experienced Senior IT leader in large, complex organizations
- Proven track record of successful cultural transformations with federated IT operating models in matrix governance across multiple countries/business units
- Data/AI industrialization at scale with production deployment and measurable business impact
- Agile operating models at scale (SAFe) with business capability development through product management
- Experience from regulated industries (financial services, insurance) with regulatory compliance expertise (DORA, GDPR) and IT risk management is an advantage
- Strategic thinker with a “can-do” work attitude who encounters ambiguity through resilience and optimism
- Strong communicator with advanced stakeholder management skills
- Leadership skills focusing on people dialogue and development
- High Proficiency in English and German required (at least B2 level)
