The Performance Management – International Business Analyst is responsible for analysing, steering, and supporting business and financial performance across multiple international markets. The role delivers consolidated insights and cross-country comparative analysis to enhance transparency and performance understanding. Supports senior management by translating complex business and financial data into clear, actionable insights, enabling effective performance steering and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Country Life Insurance Performance Management
- Monthly analyses and monitors insurance performance across multiple countries and Business Models (Retail, Corporate, Bancassurance), including portfolio development and premiums, profitability, claims, expenses
- Analyse product mix, portfolio retention, profitability, and value creation across international portfolios
- Perform cross-country comparisons to identify trends, best practices, risks, and performance gaps focusing on the Life segment
- Ensure consistency of KPIs, methodologies, and assumptions across markets
- Support the Cross-functional collaboration with Business Modelsand underlying Business Fields via CommUNIty concept
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and portfolio mechanics
- Solid performance management and business, financial analysis skills (P&L, balance sheet, profitability, cash flow)
- Understanding of actuarial outputs and their impact on financial results
- Experience working with multi-country business and financial data
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools such as Power BI
- Databricks Python/ SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively across different markets, cultures, and regulatory environments
- Strong communication skills to challenge, align, and support local stakeholders
- Ability to present complex cross-country insights clearly to senior management

Experience Requirements & Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Actuarial Science or Insurance
- 2+ years of experience in insurance, mainly in life insurance on performance management/ FP&A/ controlling field
- Experience working with international stakeholders and performance reporting systems
- Knowledge of IFRS 17, Solvency II, or local life insurance regulatory frameworks (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to multi-country or regional responsibilities (nice-to-have)
- Fluent English
