Within Group Security Management, you will help strengthen and further mature our enterprise data and integration capabilities across Security & Resilience, Risk and Assurance. In this role, you will transform complex data into trusted insights and scalable solutions that support business-critical decision-making in a regulated environment. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify opportunities, translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and help build a robust enterprise data foundation that enables reporting, analytics, automation and governance.
What to expect:
- Design, build and maintain enterprise data integrations, APIs and data pipelines across Assurance platforms and data sources
- Develop trusted data products for reporting, analytics, automation and business decision-making
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion frameworks and transformation logic
- Work with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Medallion Architecture
- Strengthen and further develop the governed enterprise data layer
- Improve data quality, metadata management, governance and relationship consistency
- Support automation initiatives and data-driven decision-making across Security, Risk and Assurance functions
- Ensure data solutions remain secure, scalable, reliable and well documented
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps
What we expect:
- You bring proven senior-level experience in enterprise data integration and API-based platform integration.
- You have strong expertise in Python, SQL/MS SQL and REST APIs.
- You have hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Jobs/Workflows and Medallion Architecture.
- You possess a strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data lakes, data modelling, metadata management and data governance.
- You are experienced in designing and operating data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion and transformation frameworks.
- You have worked with knowledge graphs or graph-based relationship modelling.
- You are familiar with GRC processes and tools as well as identity and access management concepts, including service principals.
- You understand secure development practices and have experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, monitoring and logging.
- You are able to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI), Power Query, BPM or process modelling tools would be an advantage. Experience working in regulated industries such as insurance or financial services, as well as knowledge of information security or cyber security frameworks, is highly valued.
