What you can expect

In this role, you will drive  AI and other technology‑driven strategic initiatives across UNIQA Group. Working closely with the Head of Strategic Initiatives, you will actively contribute to the implementation of UNIQA’s corporate strategy “UNIQA 3.0 – Growing Impact” and help turn strategic ambition into scalable impact.

  • You lead and manage AI‑related and other technology‑focused strategic initiatives across the UNIQA Group
  • You identify, evaluate and prioritize AI use cases across the insurance value chain with the goal of scaling high‑impact solutions across countries
  • You act as a key interface between business and IT, translating strategic objectives into concrete technology initiatives and integration roadmaps
  • You analyze technology‑related topics (e.g. enterprise architecture, IT requirements, platforms) to support decision‑making on strategic initiatives
  • You prepare and coordinate meaningful insights, updates and decision documents for senior management related to AI and technology initiatives

What we are looking for

You combine a strategic mindset with a strong interest in technology and AI and enjoy working at the intersection of business and IT in an international environment.

  • Completed higher education degree in Technology Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a strategy, transformation or technology‑focused role, ideally within an international context
  • Proven track record in managing projects with multiple concurrent work streams
  • Solid understanding of the insurance value chain and how AI and technology can create business impact
  • Good knowledge of enterprise IT architectures, integration patterns, platforms and digital ecosystems
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, SaaS solutions and emerging technologies (especially AI) as drivers of business transformation
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving skills paired with excellent communication abilities
  • Fluency in English; German is a strong plus
