What to expect:
- You support the development and operationalization of the claims & anti-fraud strategy within UNIQA Group with a special focus on its implementation for the Austrian business unit.
- You ensure a strong governance by defining and setting the relevant Group policies and standards and its translation into effective practice in Austria
- You collaborate closely with stakeholders across UNIQA Group on strategic initiatives, driving digitalization, automation and AI transformation in the claims area
- You take responsibility for the operational claims management in Austria and continuously evolve it with a focus on efficiency and innovation
- You actively contribute to the integration of AI and innovative technologies into claims processes to improve customer experience and operational excellence
- You support the Head of the department in budget & resource planning and steer and monitor the team accordingly
- You act as an inspiring coach, fostering talent, supporting development and ensuring sustainable team growth
What we expect:
- You have a completed study and long-term experience in insurance with focus on non-life claims.
- You have experience in leading large as well as international teams on a functional basis
- You have strong project & process management skills.
- Knowledge in the area of digitalization and automatization incl. innovative techniques (like AI, machine learning, etc.) with focus on non-life insurance are an additional advantage.
- You have strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills are a must have.
- Conflict management and stress resilience, always with a focus on potential solutions for upcoming challenges.
- Good command of German (minimum B2 level)
