What to expect:
1. Reporting Process & Earnings Management
- Quarterly Material Production: Lead the preparation of analyst slide decks and CEO/CFO scripts, focusing on P&L performance, cash flow, balance sheet, and financial guidance.
- Management Preparation: Anticipate market concerns and prepare rigorous "Q&A" backup analytics to support leadership during earnings calls.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with Group Performance Management to translate complex technical/insurance KPIs into investor-appealing narratives.
2. Market Intelligence & Valuation
- Feedback Loop: Prepare raw, unfiltered summaries of analyst/investor sentiment and emerging sector trends for the Board.
- Internal Shadow Model: Build and maintain an internal financial model to anticipate how sell-side analysts will forecast company performance.
- Valuation Benchmarking: Monitor valuation KPIs relative to European and global peers to identify and address valuation gaps.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Projects
- Investor Relations: Accompany senior management in virtual and physical meetings with equity and fixed-income investors.
- Targeting Strategy: Use quantitative tools to identify investors whose mandates (Growth, Value, Yield) align with the UNIQA financial profile.
- Strategic Involvement: Provide IR support for M&A, Debt Capital Markets, and other corporate finance projects.
What we expect:
- Education: Degree in Finance, Management, or Economics. CFA Charterholder preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in Equity Research (Sell-side), Buy-side analysis, or Financial Consulting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling; proficiency in Bloomberg, FactSet, or Refinitiv; deep understanding of European trading mechanics.
- Languages: Fluent English; fluency in German is a significant plus.
